DRAYTON began with a simple idea: to make everyday essentials properly, small-batch pieces in crisp cotton, cut and sewn in London with care.

The idea started with a print. Bede had always loved the nostalgic charm of old Toile de Jouy designs and wanted to reimagine them in a way that felt quiet, wearable and modern. When he couldn’t find boxer shorts that balanced good fabric, good fit and a sense of character, he set out to make his own, beginning with that first Toile design.

That curiosity became DRAYTON. What began with a handful of small-batch boxer shorts soon became a growing collection of cotton essentials, each one produced in London in limited runs from poplin once used for fine shirting and traditional tailoring. The focus remains the same now as it was at the start: thoughtful details, considered fits, and an appreciation for things that last.

DRAYTON is still a one-person brand, Bede designs, packs and ships every order himself, but the ambition is simple: to build a small, honest clothing label that values craft over noise, and to make pieces that are worn well, worn often, and only get better with time.
